    Randy,
Can you post Koocher's email address so that the rest of the uneducated masses can email his highness?
    Thanks,
    Alan

The response from Koocher is simply amazing. They're obviously approaching this with extreme bias straight from the get-go.
What also strikes me is the blatant arrogance of the response to such a polite and professional letter. There's an attitude of such hostility and elitism going on with some of these people. They can't seriously be trusted with the well-being of hurting people, for whom the truth really matters.

I added it to the original post where it was originally in the quote and here it is ... koocher@simmons.edu

I was reluctant to put it on there at first but I see the point in following up with him.

ok ... ok... now. One of the things I liked about Brannon's response was that it was very deferential to Koocher's credentials and reputation.

I am all for raising a ruckus and asserting righteous anger ... but I am not for letting that turn into something sinful.

Please be careful to explain forthrightly your displeasure of his obvious disdain for our lives. All the while staying mindful of the respect that every human being deserves but also this man who has worked really hard to get the degrees and level of leadership that he has.

Be sober in your anger. I hope that the difference between our activism and what most activists do is that we don't instigate or revel in hostility or return it when it comes our way.

If he wants to be an "elitist" condescending "jerk" ,so what? I still want him to appoint someone who represents our views to the task force.

Yeah, good advice for everyone else to stay civil, right now he's the one that has to answer for his inappropriate response, no sense in giving him ammunition.

I am having trouble believing that a professional would write something that crude and confrontational, much less in response to calm, thoughtful objection.

Something about "true colors" comes to mind here, you know?

    Keep us posted, Randy.

I know, it is odd that he responded the way he did and yes ... I will keep you posted.
