I started blogging about three and a half years ago as a way to keep friends a supporters “in the loop.” Then it grew into the mishmash of whatever this blog represents today.

    And I think you can add Beth's blog, Inscapes, ( http://inscapes.blogspot.com ) as a GrandBlog, although I may need to clarify that with her. (She started blogging after she began reading and commenting at QL.)

    So, are you counting Burke, too, or did he already have his own blog before he co-wrote on ETC? And do you get credit or partial credit for PDub's blog?

    What a fun post. I don't know if I can bring myself to call you my "blogdaddy", though. That may be going a little too far for me. ;) BlogFather is fun, though, and I guess you're also a GrandBlogPa, counting Grumpy Teacher.

    Feelin' old? ;)

    OOPs, I forgot one of the babies. I am an awful BlogFather. Where is Burke's blog? I can claim PDub because I convinced him to start one over Chinese food in DC. If not I am blognapping him. GrandBlogPa! Perfect. :)

    I must be one of those BlogFreaks who is fatherless. I created the precursor to Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com on a whim (it was a humor site) and Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com followed suit about a few weeks later.
    Actually, now that I really think about it (it was now 5 years ago) my now defunct Geek-Brigade-dot-com domain was my first blog, it was inspired from seveal places, but never showed any signs of success.
    How fitting that my blog has a shady past.

    Well Jeremy, my blogparent is NPR (as in National Public Radio.) I heard a report on blogs on it and was smitten.

    So, since we are both blog orphans (NPR abandoned me a long time ago) how about we can adopt each other as blog brothers?

    I just love blogging but my way to blog has changed now, I am more into microblogging these days, I hope you know about microblogging!
