Wow. I just registered with Typepad just so I could comment on this entry :) I am a Centrist as well, but it put me more toward "Big Government", which cracks me up to no end.

This quiz is VERY libertarian weighted. That is where I originally got it. A Libertarian candidate for State Congress gave it to me.

As I understand it, these questions are designed to make you more libertarian than you might otherwise be. I wound up in roughly the same place as you, Randy, but slightly more libertarian.

I think it's funny it put you toward big government too.
Jack, I checked out the site a litte further and you are right. It has to be purposefully slanted toward Libertarian. Even the graphic sends a pro-libertarian message.
I mean come on *me* a centrist just left of center? Maybe halfway between the center and the right but not tilted toward the left.
However, I am not real thrilled with either the left OR right at the moment so maybe it is picking up on that.
