I think it's embarrassing that the bill that was signed ended up being over 450 pages, when it started at 3.5. I am trying to get the transcript. ...

He said the funds for ACORN were taken out, BUT he tripped up and said something about some of the "other groups" were not affected. (Not affected?!?) Red flag to me. ESPECIALLY because Barney Frank and Rahm Emanuel negotiated much of the bill . (Ram is an IL Dem; former fund-raiser for the same Chicago "Daley machine" that trained Obama; ruthless, hard-core liberal; on the Ways & Means Comm (hands on the "pocketbook")). I have a gut feel that they did a "work around" to get the money BACK to ACORN.

Will get it to you when I find it. BIG SIGH. Just say no. No bail out at my expense, please. Especially when one party is trying to drag the other party on board, labeling it bi-partisanship, when in fact it's a big ol' case of CYA just in case the bail out doesn't work . . . so the party dragged on board can be blamed.
