It was her saying for pressing through with power even though she was not as young as she use to be. I love it when she slams into the car at the grocery store and said "I'm older and I have more insurance", if you haven't seen this movie it's a great one to add to any collection.

Re: Fitness Update - First Spinning Class, Keep Reading

Tawanda!, Randissimo! I love your fantasy version, Randy. That's my fantasy of the perfect spin class. :-)
Spin is the hardest endurance training exercise that I've ever done. I run up to 8 mph during my sprint interval training on the treadmill 3 days per week. So before I took my first spin class, I thought I was an unstoppable force of nature. Not so much. I only made it through 25 minutes of my first spin class and had to lie on one of the benches in the ladies' locker room for about 20 minutes afterward. Quite embarrassing. You impress me, once again.

Re: Fitness Update - First Spinning Class, Keep Reading

lol.. I remember my first spin class, I thought it was going to be a piece of cake because I'm use to running but Oh my goodness was I so wrong. About 15 minutes into the class, I was sucking wind and wondering why on earth I picked the bike on the front row. Glad to hear you made it through the class. My advice is Not to pick any bike on the front row.
Good luck with your next class. :tawanda:

Re: Fitness Update - First Spinning Class, Keep Reading

Thanks for the correction Karla. They call it spinning because that is what your legs do for the hour.

Re: Fitness Update - First Spinning Class, Keep Reading

Randy, Randy, Randy ... sigh. I love you and I'm so glad you're sticking with it. But the Dead or Alive song is actually "You spin me RIGHT 'round, baby ..."
