    This was a fun interview to watch, and as a result of watching it I googled to find a few other interviews. Sadly, I found an interview where Anne said she believed there are many paths to God....and since she's a progressive that explains that. But her writing appears to be sufficient. Thanks for posting the video.

    oh I know. I love her but there were a few time, even during the interview, that I thought she sounded like a New Age-y liberal :). She is a fascinating writer. I love her humility but I wonder, from time to time, if she is attempting to meld secular humanism and Christianity (which I think, in the end, are completely incompatible.)

    That doesn't mean I can't learn from her about the writing process and other character attributes. I just need to be wary and test it with what I know to be true with scripture and my relationship with Christ.

    Her book, "Bird by Bird," is (in my opinion) a must-read for any writer, as is Stephen King's "On Writing."

    And don't worry about the drafts you sent - that's what editors are for :D

    @Fay - ::: laugh ::: well, this is only my third theme this year as compared to your third theme this week ::: doh! ::: I actually paid for this one so... it's going to be a keeper! Plus, I can switch out the pictures at top so that will help my impulsive creative tweakiness. Thanks for picking on me :) ... seriously. I enjoy it.

    Oh and about those editors... well, I don't want to hand off crap so I want to get better at that part :). I love editors though ... thank God for editors :).

    I love my editor, too. I totally get tired of my work & need someone to tear it apart for me.

    I'm only 18 minutes in, but it's good stuff.
