I'd prefer it if God orchestrated a victory by allowing a majority of voters to confirm prop 8, rather than by an amusing confusion.

Our corresponding campaign about marriage wordings haven't been all that good either. Though, I do think it'd amuse me if the confusion was how God orchestrated a victory :)

I want him to vote no matter what but it is even better that he is in favor of Prop 8 :).

I know, there has been confusion regarding the wording and such from the very first step. California has a way of doing that from what I hear.

Everybody has been having this problem (the no and yes on 8 people I know have all made comments about their confusion to me, and Margaret Cho did a commercial on it) because for some reason it seems crazy that if you want gay marriage you vote no, and if you don't want it you vote yes. So it's all backwards, and everyone's confused. I hope that we don't have people voting backward of what they want!

Well, as much as I don't want a "no on 8" vote I would rather have him vote than be turned away. Especially if he is eligible.

Actually, one of them registered really late, and the people working at the poll couldn't find his address, so he couldn't vote period (but he is going home to get the letter that says he's registered to vote there). I don't know who they voted for, but I'm sure they're no on prop 8.

Wow, I think it took me about 40 minutes to vote, too. Big turnout, yay!

I wonder if Facebook will turn out to be the best get out the vote tool in history? I guess it depends on whether the famous youth vote grows. I saw two previously unregistered (one 18, one 19) friends at my polling place, so that's good, right?
