Our pond is also a resevoir, but it is always and only a resevoir, so it is always filled with ickiness. Actually, it is part of the Rio Hondo River, but the Army Corps of Engineers turned it into a resevoir when they cemented in all of the rivers in Southern California (to protect us from flooding).

I like the accent. It flooded badly here a few years ago and I remember being struck by the power it had to change the landscape.

I hope there will be concerts in that park again.

Re: More Aftermath - Crane’s Roost Flood Video

You could click on the little disqus comments button above the "Add New Comment" Box and upload a picture there. I don't know how they are doing but I imagine they got hit about like we did here in North Orlando (15+ inches.)

Re: More Aftermath - Crane’s Roost Flood Video

My accent gets thick when I am relaxed. I'm alright with that ... southern through and through.

Normally that lake isn't that bad but it also serves as a resevoir so it has all this extra crap in it right now... I have never seen it flood like that before. I even lived closer to that park in 2004 during the hurricanes and don't remember it being that bad.

I pray you are safe from the three eyed perch.

Re: More Aftermath - Crane’s Roost Flood Video

You can ask ...

I think the Biden pick was a gift to the Republicans as far as propaganda is concerned. I think it also shows that a man who prides himself on having good judgment just made a big mistake. Even if he wins I believe he will regret asking Biden to be his VP.

Re: More Aftermath - Crane’s Roost Flood Video

Um, why does my face look like a blank-stare box here? (And yes, Blaine was being very gross by touching that water!) Actually there is a pond behind our house with icky water in it, and this looks like it matched the level of ickiness. Three-eyed perch swim in our pond, I bet that's the kind of fish that swims in that water too. :::wrinkles nose:::

Re: More Aftermath - Crane’s Roost Flood Video

I thought that was him!
