We have the instinct to protect, vehemently protect, and nurture the life within us.  In order to destroy the life, we have to completely detach from the truth of the matter and from any maternal love that may already be there and all the emotions, etc., that go along with detaching and going against nature. The womb producing new life is a wonderful mystery that transcends the mother herself.
