It's obvious I am speaking about my experience. If your reading into it sounds "ridiculous" to your own mind ... maybe you should cause yourself a little less stress and stop reading negative assumptions into obvious statements.

Re: Prop 8 Simulcast in California About Protecting Marriage

"When I had a change of heart and decided to move beyond my gay identity/worldview and seek out the possibility of change in my sexual orientation, I didn’t have to worry about divorce, child custody or property battles. For that I am glad."

What exactly is that supposed to mean? I mean, I'm in the same situation, but I'd never mention that as one of the benefits of being celibate. It kind of goes without saying. I know you don't mean this (at least, I hope I know you don't mean this) but to me it sounds like you're saying that the gay persons who are against Prop 8 should go ex-gay just so they don't have to worry about the things you describe.

And that sounds a little ridiculous. So if you didn't mean that, please tell me what you meant.

Re: Prop 8 Simulcast in California About Protecting Marriage

My statement means what it means. Maybe I'll be fortunate enough to catch the last one. I didn't see an email go out on any of Exodus's mailing lists, like sometimes they do when they're being on a major broadcast...just something you guys may want to consider! Praying the message stirred people to share hearts more like Christ with the hurting world around them, while holding to the truth.

Re: Prop 8 Simulcast in California About Protecting Marriage

Well said about public policy.
