I just read your post on Cicadas and love that you were shooting at them with a BB gun. During a HUGE invasion back when I was a teen in Tennessee, my brother and I would stand on the back porch with our tennis rackets and "thunk" them backwards.
We were constantly swinging there were so many of them. Our three dogs loved it.
