    I was surprised to see no one showed up on the pro-gay side too. If you didn't know, is it possible that the word didn't get out to the pro-gay folks that this was even happening?

    I don't think so. When I was involved in the Chapter 57 ordinance here in Orlando, some of the Commissioners would try to schedule things in such a way that made it difficult to follow the schedule but ... the laws required notifications and whatnot. I would imagine the same is true in Ft. Lauderdale. I don't know how the homosexual community missed it.

    I was feeling a little creeped out that they kept gloating too. OK, so that's a little strong of a word, but I really don't feel the love of Jesus.

    Well now Chas... you go and do what they did. :) You don't know that they are "gloating." That's why I asked an open ended question and not judge their motivations.
