I have to admit I love this movie too! It is just fun to watch.

:), what part of the movie is the
    Funniest?
    Poignant?
    Overarching theme?
for me, the funniest was Chris Tucker screaming forever and ever. Poignant - when wounded Leilu (sp?) cries out as the diva dies. And the overarching theme to me as good vs. evil will only win because of the purity of human love.

That is one of the most fun (and most silly) movies ever. I, too, watch it with some regularity, and repeat lines and laugh at the same jokes every time.
I wish I had the extended edition. Do you have it?

I’m a huge Bruce Willis fan and this film rates right up there. I love it when Milla Jovovich says, ‘Multipass’! I agree with your comment, Randy, when you said, ‘And the overarching theme to me as good vs. evil will only win because of the purity of human love.’ Nothing humans create is greater!

I must agree with your poignant and overarching themes... funniest is so difficult to narrow down. I mean Chris Tucker is just a riot through the entire thing. Like when the Bruce Willis character gives him the gun and he shoots it by accident or when he tells him to count to ten and he counts while crying or... I could go on. Of course, now I feel the need to watch the movie again!

Don’t forget the little ping that one of Gary Oldman’s legs makes when he walks!
