Hey Randy. Sounds like quite a morning. I was totally drawn into the story and then the word snarkiness appeared. :) What a great word. The story is touching and thought-provoking... thank you. And... thank you for snarkiness. It made my night.

cool. There was more to the morning. Security was a trip. Bikers, Soccer Mom's and Crackberry Addicts ... oh my!

It's funny...Mindy and I just had a lengthy discussion about the woman at the well. The Lord had given each of us that story this past week. It's a remarkable story. I wonder if the woman in the parking lot would have had a similar response to Jesus as the woman at the well?

Randy how beautifully you place into words the experience of your morning and then finally the revelation of Christ's love and compassion for the lost and spiritually destitute. Daily I observe the world and attempt to see it through the eyes of our Lord. I have to admit that it is not always easy. I find that instead of being moved to prayer in compassion and love for those I see around me, I pass unfair judgement and am sometimes quick to make assesments based on lifstyle. Then I realize that each of has a "story" of redemption and grace. Either we have embraced or rejected it. Like the woman at the well...if Jesus were to judge her on lifestyle and fail to love her enough to forgive her and offer her eternal life then those you encountered on your trip would then hardly be deserving of your concern or prayer based on outward...for lack of a better word...YUK!
All that to say....Jesus is the PERFECT example of LOVE to this world and that as we study His Word each of must continue in our precious santification, continually maturing in the knowledge and the loving reality of God's grace that is Christ's alone.
Thank you again for your thoughts.
