We're giving the hurricanes goblin names? Very JRR Tolkien. Ellie approves. :-)

Good. Help me come up with the rest of the alphabet. H-HassleHort and so on ...

Shagrat? Iuvar? I don't think there are goblin names for every letter. Only the scary, hard sounding letters. A is usually for pretty names like Aethelflaed (Lady of the Mercians) and Alemenia.

Well, I didn't say they had to be goblin names ... I said evil names. Use your imagination.

Oh and if you do a good job ... once I become Grand World Benevolent Tyrant ... you could be the Prime Minister of Naming Evil Storms.

    Tempting isn't it?

It sounds like you have a very complex bureaucracy planned out, Oh future Grand World Benevolent Tyrant. I still don't think there are any scary sounding names that start with A. Although one of my favorite professors would immediately say "Administrator."

Hopefully you won't need anymore names.

Dude...there's been some bad wheather down where you guy's are!

At least you guy's have a sense of humour about it all. I saw some pretty sad photo's on msn. I can't say that I believe everything I read in the media because they have a way of twisting it and well the right and left wings are never balanced out with equality and so there really never is a balanced perspective on issues if you only take what you read and hear from the media.

I like to hear from the horses mouth so to speak.

But photo's say a thousand words so they say. And I've seen some depressing photo's today. It's equivilent to what I saw when Katrina hit the coast. Talking about Gustuv or whatever the name is.

    I know!

I'm calling Gustav "GullyGrim" and am now officially renaming Hanna as "Higgledypiggledy."

No, no, no. Heckedy Peg. "I'm Heckedy Peg. I've lost my leg. Let me in!" wonderful story, and pictures, by Don and Audrey Wood.
  • B.T.Carolus · 1 year ago
    Higgledypiggledy sound silly, not scary.
  • Randy · 1 year ago
and Heckedy Peg is not "silly?" That didn't really scare me.

Plus, it's called mockery. I don't think GullyGrim is truly scary evil either.
  • B.T.Carolus · 1 year ago
Heckedy Peg is an evil witch who is trying to eat a mother's children. She's very scary. You have to read the story to appreciate it fully.

You didn't say you wanted mocking names...you said you wanted them to conjure images of hell...
  • Randy · 1 year ago
Sorry the tone of mockery didn't come across in the name GullyGrim
