  • I generally agree with what you're saying here. The passage of time does not necessarily mean that one gains knowledge or understanding, much less wisdom. For "the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom."

    A man I knew in ministrty used to say, "I've got thrity years experience" to justify his work, to which I would respond, "No! You've got one year experienced repeated 30 times."

    Perfect and unfortunately true more often than not. We always have to be pressing on, learning and all that.
