I surprised my friends of that time by identifying myself as a Christian. And yet I was, I am, forever. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;And in those years, God blessed me with 3 friends who totally got and lived unconditional love for me. The rest of my friends scorned and judged, and abandoned me to my ways. I got that, but it still hurt. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The faithful friends didn't *not* say hard truths if they needed saying, but above all made visible their love for me, no matter what.  God further blessed me by allowing me, later!, to thank those 3 friends for their faithfulness, their obedience and their transparent love. They taught me much by their living example of what a friend looks like.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;One of these dear souls has had my back for over 36 years now...faithfully praying for me. Wow.
