  • Which Incredibles Character Are You? brought to you by Quizilla

    I love that movie.
  • We just took the quiz. My oldest son, the Artist, came up as Eslata-girl (he wasn't pleased), the Stuntman came up as Syndrome (he wanted to be Dash and insists he still is), and I came up as Violet as my oldest predicted. Well, 1 out of 3 isn't too bad...
  • Hey Katie...the comments posts won't load pictures. Which Incredible character are you?
Kat, now I will visualize Mirage each time you post.
Mirage was a complex secondary character.

    I love that movie.
  • I am Mirage!
Cool, sophistocated and smooth. You know what you want and you get it without any trouble (don't know that I totally agree with that one). You've got style and flair.

  • I really like this movie, fun to watch and I have a couple of times..I came up as Violet, oh well, I do like the color.
  • Eslata-girl? Don't remember that one. Syndrome? blech. Violet was cool.
  • Violet was wonderful. I really liked her character.
  • Ha Ha very funny Randy. Okay, so I forgot to proofread. Elasta-girl is what I meant. I think my second-born came up as Syndrome because I said he is sneaky, and he said he is too busy to go out with friends (the kid is 4 1/2! He isn't too busy for anything!) He is much more like Dash's character. I am kind of a "Violet" too, she was great. We are getting a copy of the movie tomorrow. I am psyched to see it again!
  • Ok, I hate to admit this :::gulp::: but I've never seen it. As a nanny, I know I should feel ashamed, but as a nanny, I knowingly did not see it because I knew the boys would get it as soon as it came out and watch it a gazzillion times. :::deep breath:::
How smart am I? They got it for Easter and it is playing right now as I type.
So far, it seems pretty cute.
Randy, do me a favor and don't picture Mirage each time I post...she is kind of scary looking. :)

  • OHHHHH...I didn't connect who it was supposed to be. I can totally see you as elasta girl. That's actually kind of appopriate dontchya' think?

Eslata reminded me of Ensalada (salad.) Salad Girl? :)

  • I thought Mirage was cool and classy in an evil turned good sorta' way... but I will honor your wishes.

So since your posting you probably have seen the movie three more times. Whatya' think?
  • We just got it today and watched it. I love "Jack-Jack Attack"!!!! Oh, and Randy, I am not Elasti-girl, I am Violet--and appropriately as a teen, I wore hairbands quite a lot, purple is also my favorite color. My oldest son came up as Elasti-girl from the quiz.

Kathryn, I totally relate. As a nanny I saw Mary Poppins way too many times to count. Much to my shagrin, my mom just gave me a copy last week.
  • Man did I fail reading comprehension or what? ::: shaking head :::
  • Randy, the thing with being a nanny or a mom (Joyella, I am sure you can relate)is that I see movies in segments since I am busy doing other things, like changing dirty diapers and fixing lunch. So the beginning it really good...other than that I couldn't tell ya. Ask me again in about a week when it has been played another 20 times. By then I will have surely caught up on the rest of the plot.
Joyella, I love Mary Poppins. I've always wanted to be that kind of a nanny. How cool would it be to be able to take the boys on an afternoon adventure in a sidewalk chalk drawing? And that bag...I WANT that bag!

  • Sorry to hear about the youngin' having strep. Not cool. Again, I liked Mirage :).
  • So I saw the WHOLE movie today. R, the 4 year old has strep throat and we all lounged around on the couch and managed to get through it with no interuptions...no small feet I might add. After seeing it I had to take the quiz again because I don't see myself in Mirage AT ALL. Helen/Elasta-Girl fits me a lot better. But alas, I am Mirage, or so says Quizilla.

  • Thanks...it was a doozy of a day.
  • Now that kid deserves some props.
    Oh and you too :).
  • We took him to the doctor today and he was full of animation, bouncing off every wall in the place. I was almost embarrased to take him to the "Sick Child" part of the office, fearing people would look at him and say, "She's crazy, he's not sick". However the test came back saying that he does indeed have Strep...I knew something wasn't right!
One of the nurses said as we were walking out... "God bless you. If he acts this way when he has Strep Throat, I can only imagine what he is like when he is well." EXACTLY! WELCOME TO MY WORLD! :)

  • Hello Im just dropping by to say that I am a big fan of the Incredibles but most of all I'd have to say that I just love the poise of Mirage and the cunningness in her essence . I really love that scene where she tells Syndrome off after having her life threatened with Mr. Incredible. Well it just so turns out that on Quizilla I happen to be her . I didn't even try ... of course Ive always been lay low . I never liked a psycho though although I must say I am attracted to power myself. One other reason I like Mirage is she reminds me of my close blond cousin Taylor who is quite poised and dainty.I have to scram so over and out.- Emmie
